ARB UNDER VEHICLE PROTECTION
Design and Development:
ARB Under Vehicle Protection panels are designed to give protection to vital underbody components including steering, engine sump, transmission and transfer case. Laser cut, press formed and folded 3mm sheet steel is used in ARB UVP to provide superior strength.
The ARB UVP for the Toyota LC300 introduces a new 4 panel design which improves the ease of removing separate panels without the need to remove all panels to get access for servicing. Full vehicle servicing will require removal and refit of panels to access drain plugs and other service points
ARB’s UVP will fit with or without an ARB bull bar. Fitment has not been confirmed with other bar designs. ARB Forged Recovery Points 2825010 and 2825020 are compatible with the ARB UVP for the Toyota LC300.
PROTECTION AND STYLING CHARACTERISTICS:
- 3mm pressed and folded sheet steel adds more strength than a standard folded sheet
- Laser cut sheet steel
- UVP panels zinc plated and powder coated in a silver textured finish. All steel components are protected with either powder coat or zinc plating
- Recessed mounting bolts are protected and easy to remove for vehicle servicing
- Front panel protects:
- Stabiliser bar
- Engine components
- Front diff panel protects:
- Front differential and mounts
- Power Steering
- Engine sump
- Transmission panel
- Transfer case panels
- Compatible with ARB Forged Recovery Point PN 2825010 and 2825020
- Approximate weight of the UVP and fitting kit is 46.6kg. Front panels weighs approximately 7.3kg, front diff panel weighs approximately 11kg, transmission panel weighs approximately 10.6kg and transfer case panel cross weighs approximately 8kg
- Kit includes illustrated fitting instructions
NOTE: While these panels have been engineered for strength and functionality, care and good judgement should be taken when traversing difficult off-road conditions to minimize damage to panels and vehicle.
During servicing when panels are removed ensure fasteners are re-fitted to the correct torque values. Inspect panels and mounting points visually on a regular basis. Dirt and foreign matter should be washed out to minimize build up around hot components.
